LHD 1966 Street car specification factory continuation car UK registered.
On offer here is chassis number COX 3361. Chassis & body constructed and painted by AC Cars. Complete suspension also fitted by AC Cars. The Aluminium bodywork was produced on the original 1960`s body jigs to original specification using the traditional English wheel and gas welding the sections with parent metal filler rod. The chassis is to Original specification from the AC Factory chassis jig
This is believed to be the last Cobra painted at Frimley factory and subsequently completed by authorised AC Heritage. Built to 1965 lhd 427 Street Car specification, finished in Guards Red coachwork with black leather trim. 428 high performance engine, built by Southern Automotive, with Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, Melling high volume oil pump, Southern Automotive custom grind hydraulic lift camshaft. Canton 8 qt style oil pan, stainless steel intake & exhaust valves, 2 x 4V 390 cfm Holley carburettors . 9.8:1 compression ratio, giving 470bhp.
Lakewood blow proof bell housing, 4 speed close ratio big spline top loader gearbox. Correct Smiths instruments, Halibrand style alloy pin drive wheels 7.5 x 15 front & 9.5 x 15 rear. Tuned length stainless steel exhaust manifolds with stainless steel rear exhaust system. Full weather equipment, including tonneau cover Black Connelly Hide with black carpets. Fia passport option allowing this AC to participate in premier events worldwide. This example is presented in first class condition and will have a 12 months parts and labour warranty .
