1954.  The Aceca Coupe was launched at the London Motor Show and went into production the following year.

When the Aceca coupe appeared at the London Motor show is was sensational !

1957 Le Man's Ace of Rudd/Bolton lapping at a steady 100mph!

1957.  Le MansBristol Ace finished tenth overall. Efforts never concentrated solely on cars and the familiar blue invalid carriages were turned out in their hundreds at Thames Ditton, alongside high powered sports cars

 
This is a unique image of Ace Le Man's prototype on its return to the Thames Ditton works in 1958.

 

1958. Le-Mans- Special bodied Ace Bristol finished eighth and standard version ninth.

The company also ventured briefly into railway rolling stock business, producing 5 four-wheeled rail buses for British Railways Western Region. Some 50 years later two of the five produced still survive!
