AC Heritage @ Brooklands Centenary 2007.

17th June 1907.

On the 17th June 1907, after just 9 months of work, the still as then unfinished Brooklands Motor Course opened for the first time to the public. The first official race was held on July 6th 1907 and until the last race in 1939 the track was the epitome of speed and glamour, capturing the imagination of the period and establishing itself as the spiritual home of British MotorSport.

On the weekend of June 16th & 17th 2007 the opening ceremony was re-enacted to celebrate 100 years of motoring history. AC Heritage & The Brooklands Motor Company were delighted to support this remarkable event providing a fantastic range of AC cars, both static and track demonstrations.
