AC Two Litre Works Development Car.

We've done it again, found & rescued the AC Two Litre works development car.

Owned by Charles Hurlock, OPG 192 was build in 1950 at the Thames Ditton works and was fitted with split-axle Independent Front Suspension during its development life.

The car was campaigned at Club Events by Derek Hurlock. OPG 192 is captured here at a very wet Silverstone. The front windscreen demisters are visible in the picture and are still on the car today!

The car is captured here in the early 50's at the Thames Ditton Works Service facility.

Although now finished in Silver-Gray, OPG 192 was ex-works in a very unusual Metallic Blue coach work.

The car will now under go a comprehensive restoration project over the coming months. We will record the progress of this very important and significant vehicle as part of the AC Heritage.
